About the Role- To maximise customer experience by delivering continuous quick and efficient service to all cash customers through mentoring, coaching, and developing staff within hubs and spokes.
- The role requires careful daily coordination, cash planning (including foreign exchange/banknotes), forecasting, and management to ensure most effective cash management.
- Lead a team of cash and service colleagues, ensuring they adhere to set safe limits and regulatory requirements.
- Perform quality checks on note counting equipment using applicable test packs.
- Regulate Treasury workflow, determining cash flow within branches/areas and placement of cash within other areas as per forecast within Tactix requirements.
- Ensure cash orders received from clients such as Hub and Spoke are fulfilled for ATM custodians to replenish ATMs.
- Ensure correct orders are paid to the correct custodian, maintaining effective End of Day Controls in the cash environment.
- Assist within the branch by resolving client queries and complaints, managing custodians for ATMs and GBRU, and maintaining processes and compliance.
- Responsible for RIB foreign exchange administration and balancing, as well as actioning of set listings on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Ensure cost-effectiveness in managing foreign banknote ordering/clearances and related logistics.
- Manage staff capacity through recruitment of permanent and temporary staff, planning leave, and ensuring employees are competent through completion of required compliance training.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels and correspondence processes between employees, establishing a succession plan for the team, and minimising operational losses.
