**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The purpose of this position is to add value by providing support and Human Capital expertise in order to assist the organisation to meet its objective through sound knowledge and service delivery. Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
**Recruitment and Human Capital Administration - **Managing and executing Talent Management activities for the organisation, including but not limited to recruitment, selection and placement, advertising of vacancies internally and externally in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Responsible for applicants short listing, screening, conducting interviews, background checks, drafting of contracts of employment amongst other duties;
- Responsible for new employee profiles, updating HC systems, i.e., payroll database, maintaining and implementing the necessary changes.
- Where necessary, sourcing of an accredited/registered Psychometrist for assessments and reporting for senior Management positions.
- Providing assistance and support to senior Management, Steering committee with the consultation process, report compilation and administration of the Employment Equity process.
- Assist with the internship programme by recruiting, supporting and ensuring that the programme is conducted according to the business objectives.
- Assist with HC related administration processes and projects.

**Client liaison and support**:Ensuring that Line Management and payroll department are kept abreast

with the latest Talent Management best practices and legislation changes.
- Maintain high levels of customer service through pro-active approach and continuous engagement with the relevant stakeholders.
- Support Line Management with Probation process and administration thereof.
- Assist with payroll administration and inputs when necessary

**Reporting**:Compiling accurate reports on the following: Staff terminations
- Recruitment, selection and placement
- Internship programme
- EE report

**Education**: Must have Matric (Grade 12) and/or equivalent qualification
- Must have HR Degree/ 3 years Diploma

**Experience**:At least 2-3 years Human Capital Generalist practical experience, specifically in Recruitment and VIP system

**Personal Attributes**: Integrity, Achievement Orientation and Customer Service Orientation
- Must be flexible, willing and able to travel to various branches;
Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license is essential

**Pre-requisite Skills and Knowledge**:Good understanding of BCEA, EEA, COIDA, UIF and LRA.
- VIP system
- Human Capital/HR and payroll knowledge
- Online recruitment system experience will be advantageous
