Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A degree in HR, Law, Psychology, or related fields; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
  • Demonstrable experience at board level within the human capital function, ideally with a minimum of 10 years in a Human Capital Generalist role.
  • In-depth knowledge of South African labor legislation and regulations is essential.
  • Proficiency in Human Capital software (HRIS and ATS) is required.
  • Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Chief Financial Operations Officer & Managing Director.
  • Direct management of a team of 5 (Human Capital Consultants and Talent Acquisition).
  • Oversight of the entire Human Capital function, including strategy development, budget management, talent management, and HR processes.
  • Leadership in HR strategy and planning, organizational risk management, compliance, and control.
  • Development of a compelling employer brand and employee value proposition.
  • Management of employee engagement, performance reviews, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Implementation of systems and processes to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Management of the labor relations function and administration of remuneration and benefits.
