**Position: Fleet Manager**

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all fleet operations across our collection of luxury game lodges.
- Ensure the maintenance and repair of all vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
- Manage and train fleet staff to deliver outstanding service.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient fleet management.
- Monitor and control fleet costs to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of vehicles and equipment.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Handle fleet-related inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- ** Vehicle Uptime**: Maintain high levels of vehicle availability and reliability.
- ** Maintenance Compliance**: Ensure all vehicles meet safety and maintenance standards.
- ** Cost Control**: Implement cost control measures to optimize fleet expenses.
- ** Fleet Efficiency**: Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency.
- ** Compliance**: Ensure adherence to all transportation regulations and standards.
- ** Staff Training & Development**: Implement effective training programs to enhance fleet staff performance.
- ** Inventory Management**: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of vehicle parts and supplies.
- ** Efficiency**: Ensure timely and efficient fleet operations.
- ** Team Collaboration**: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- ** Audit Preparedness**: Ensure fleet operations are ready for audits and inspections.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or similar role in a luxury hotel or game lodge setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Up-to-date knowledge of fleet management trends and best practices.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Diploma in Fleet Management, Logistics, or a related field is advantageous.
