A fast growing, dynamic group of companies operating in the Mobility, Hotels & Leisure and Enviro spaces are seeking the services looking at the Shared Services / Corporate Services division.

The purpose of the job is to conceptualise and design a comprehensive corporate / shared services strategy that provides a framework to ensure that the Company has effective, systematic and compliant processes to support efficient and effective service delivery throughout the group of companies. The role oversees, directs and provides strategic Corporate / Shared Services leadership, advisory and support services through the delivery of strategic Programme Management, Business Development, Marketing Management, Human Resources Management, IT Management and OHS, Security and Facilities Management. The role develops and drives forward long-term strategic planning strategies and policies within the portfolio, to facilitate the achievement of corporate aims and objectives by ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of corporate operations

The duties are as follows (Summarised)

**Essential Strategic Management**
- Keeps abreast with legislation, Acts, Bills, Regulations and amendments thereto, trends, theories and practices underlying Shared Services-related systems data and processes
- Evaluates and comments on applicability of specific key performance indicators and measures against outcomes detailed in the Division
- Presents a conceptual framework of current and future interventions necessary to achieve acceptable levels and standards of service delivery
- Provides strategic vision and sets the direction for the Division. Complies with performance management requirements for Division
- Sets the long-term strategy and objectives for the Shared Services Division, taking into account economic, social and international variables
- Facilitates and assists Managers in the identification, analysis and resolution of strategic issues within the Division
- Provides inputs into the strategic planning processes to promote consistency and alignment with corporate goals and objectives of the Company.

**Programme Management Leadership**

Provides strategic programme management leadership and oversight to ensure that project initiatives align with the Company’s strategic vision, goals and objectives

**Business Development Management Leadership**

Provides strategic leadership and guidance to drive the acquisition of new business opportunities via government, local municipalities and corporate tenders in line with the Group’s overall objectives

**Marketing Management Leadership**
- Manages the strategic implementation of the Marketing function and exercises management oversight to meet the Company's operational requirements

**Human Resources Management Leadership**

Manages the strategic implementation of the Human Resources function and exercises management oversight of the HR function to meet the Company's operational requirements

**Information Technology Management**

Oversees the development and implementation of a sound IT strategy, framework, budget and associated systems, policies and procedures, thereby ensuring that IT services meet the Company’s requirements. Ensures that the IT function delivers on the Company's requirement in terms of an IT network, systems (including IT, telephone management and access control systems), software and day-to-day IT support and maintenance

**OHS, Security and Facilities Management Leadership**

Provides leadership to drive the development and implementation of integrated OHS, Security and Facilities management services throughout the Company.

**Stakeholder Management**

Manages and maintains effective stakeholder and business relationships through appropriate relationship building, networking and reporting activities to promote retention and growth

**International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) Audit Compliance**

Achieves an average of 80% compliance on both internal and external International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) audits conducted

**Financial Management**

Manages and reconciles the budget and expenditure within the portfolio including monthly financial reports

Analyses trends, operating requirements and forward plans to establish / determine funding / expenditure for the period and / or assessing the accuracy of project estimations / costing referring to specifications and / or technical requirements

**People Management**
- Directs and controls outcomes associated with the utilisation, productivity and performance of employees within the Shared Services Division
- Reviews and aligns the divisional structure to the strategic objectives of the organisation
- Establishes work standards, provides feedback and coaching and conducts employee performance reviews and appraisals and related activities to comply with Afrirent’s performance management system
