Business Administration Order Management Manager

Flender South Africa is looking to appoint a Business Administration Order Management Manager to lead a team of dedicated Order/Project Managers.
The successful candite will be able to coach, support and develop Order Management Team in managing Order/Projects according to defined Order/Project Management policies and guidelines. Also manage reporting and commercial tasks to directly support effective and profitable Business and support accountable management in assigned area of responsibility.
**Job Description**:
- Manages and supports the order management team.
- Coordinates overall planning of Order/Projects and decides on allocation of resources.
- Maintains constant communication to customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders.
- May clarify cases as an escalation point.
- Monitors continuously the status of all assigned Orders/Projects and supports the accountable Order/Project Managers.
- Decides and allocates Order/Project Managers to the assigned Orders/Projects.
- Sets up and monitors all assigned Order/Projects and consults and supports the accountable Order/Project Managers.
- Guides ongoing comparison of objectives and their achievement, drives consisent steering actions to achieve the targets set by the business in terms of new orders, sales, profits and cash.
- Manages or contributes to ongoing optimization processes to ensure rationalization potential, to optimize productivity, and to meet safety requirements.
- Analyses deviations in detail incl. preparation of presentations and decision memos for management of the business or local entity level.
- Coordinates and organizes all financial and commercial activities within the scope of the applicable business processes for sales and bidding.
- Guides complete and timely elaboration of all necessary financial/commercial documents for the sales and bidding process, e.g. contract analysis, evaluation of risks, Order/Project selection, bid/no-bid decision, LoA
- Guides technical partners in commercial and financial matters.
- Leads other Sales related target discussions with different stakeholders.
- Ensures contract Management / Contract Structuring for internal and external business (Contract Analysis, clarifications, deviations, tax analysis, contractual risk evaluation, insurance concepts)
- Ensures Bond and Guarantee Management during the Bid phase.
- Takes responsibility for the commercial correctness, Creditworthyiness check of external customers, and hand-over-process of Order/Project.
- Completes foreign currency calculation in the offer stage.
- May coordinate risk and internal control management (internal regulations).
- Leads the organization assigned and manages all employees.
- Revenue forecasts and variance analysis
**Requirements**:
- Must have a Bcom degree in Finance/ Accounting or Equivalent Tertiary Qualification
- Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification would be an advantage.
- 5-10 years Relevant work experience preferrable within gearbox/couplings manufacturing
- 2- 3 years People Management experience essential in Gears would be an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities
- Able to work within strict deadlines

- Experience with an ERP system - SAP advantageous
- Strong Microsoft Office/Computer skills
