**Minimum Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in innovation management, venture development, or a related field.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing innovative business models.
- Experience in the minerals and energy sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of venture capital and investment strategies.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Business Model Innovation**:

- Collaborate with Exxaro businesses to identify and develop innovative business models.
- Explore opportunities for new ventures through building, purchasing, or partnering.
- Analyze market trends and emerging technologies to inform business model innovation.
- **Venture Development**:

- Lead the shaping and building of new business ventures within the minerals and energy domains.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for venture creation and growth.
- **Investments**:

- Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the minerals and energy sectors.
- Develop open innovation investment strategies to support Exxaro’s growth and innovation objectives.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to assess and manage investment risks and returns.
- **Startup Collaboration**:

- Work with startups locally and internationally to help build Exxaro’s innovation ecosystem.
- Identify promising startups and establish collaborative partnerships.
- Mentor and support startups to accelerate their growth and integration with Exxaro’s strategic goals.
