S5 Core Description
To formulate operational partnerships within the HR function, and with employees at Management level and below) in the assigned Business Unit (i.e., CPS / DPS / ConCom / CSO / SS), to deliver value-add people solutions and services. The role is responsible for providing operational guidance for people processes within the assigned BU and to implement of HR/ Business solutions and services that support the Business Unit specific objectives, while aligning to the overarching HR/ Business Strategy of the assigned BU and objectives of BCX. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
- Implement operational solutions and initiatives as indicated by the HR/ Business strategy, to achieve key BU operational objectives (i.e., CPS / DPS / ConCom / CSO / SS) and BU HR/ Business goals, in accordance with the overarching HR/ Business strategy.
- Provide the Strategic People Lead with operational input into the overarching HR/ Business strategy by highlighting and feeding back operational trends, operational realities, and key BU priorities from the assigned BU to close any operational gaps and ensure continuous alignment with the overarching HR/ Business strategy.
- Operationalise an enabling environment within the assigned BU that will empower all employees to take charge of their careers through the implementation of functional tools, processes, and support mechanisms.
- Execute the HR/ Business digital transformation agenda and the associated behavioural and technological adoption and pivoting required of the assigned BU, through leveraging technology for HR/ Business operational impact, to functionalise people practices within the BU.
- Contribute to the creation a receptive environment within the assigned BU by making all employees aware of the operational use and benefit of new technological solutions.
- Identify and support all employees on the people-centric needs and operational solutions required by the assigned BU, by building functional partnerships across the HR/ Business and BU ecosystems, and providing operational trends and data to support management in managing risks and making decisions.
- Implement the operational Talent Acquisition initiatives (e.g., recruitment, selection, development, HIPO and key role talent and dependencies within the BU), in collaboration with the Talent Optimisation team, to build a high-performing BU that can deliver on key BU operational objectives, timeously.
- Implement operational people interventions within the assigned BU by prioritising HR/ Business interventions, for optimal impact.
- Ensure people information credibility through a consistent drive for data accuracy, across the employee operational lifecycle.
- Utilise and cascade information and data dashboards at all employee levels within the assigned BU, to implement HR/ Business operations and initiatives regarding Performance, Succession, Learning and Development opportunities, and recommend operational people-centric solutions, tailored to the assigned BU’s specific needs.
- Deliver on HR/ Business operational practices and services within the assigned BU, with a focus on the amplification of the Employee Experience and delivering a high standard of operational excellence.
- Implement and deliver the operational HR/ Business strategies, initiatives, programmes, and solutions within a specific BU by collaborating with the Strategic People Leader, People Leads, all relevant stakeholders, and strategic Talent Leaders.
- Implement the latest HR/ Business operations, tools, practices, digital innovations, and people solutions, to catalyse BCX’s operational transformation.

Minimum 5 Years’ experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Business Partner, Leadership Development, Leadership Acceleration, Talent Acquisition or Talent Management environment, within a large organisation.

If the highest qualification is grade 12, Minimum 7 Years’ experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Business Partner, Leadership Development, Leadership Acceleration, Talent Acquisition or Talent Management environment, within a large organisation.
