**Hospitality and Outdoor - Urgent Vacancy - Head of Leisure Sales**
**Luxury Hospitality Group - Cape Town**
**Requirements**:
- Marketing Degree or related qualification - Preferred
- The Head of Leisure Sales is solely responsible for all local and international sales activities with a specific focus on selling to the hotel’s leisure market. Heavy emphasis will be placed on building a strategy and maintaining relationships within this market while mentoring and guiding the leisure segment team.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an international sales position as well as managing a team, within the hospitality industry
- International trade experience with key contacts, preferably
- Computer literate: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Sales diploma and/or equivalent
- Experience with sales tracking tools - Salesforce
- Must be willing to travel extensively internationally and locally.
- Must have extension leisure sales experience, multi property will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry essential - Essential
- International Trade STO Experience with strong UK/USA/German market experience - Essential
- Digital design and Online Marketing experienced - Beneficial
**Description**:
- Management of the current sales team and handling International and Local Sales and Marketing.
- To focus on growth and to concentrate more heavily on the FIT and regional markets.
- Will be responsible for the overall preparation and implementation of the day-to-day marketing activities.
- Training of a new Sales team.
- Regional & International Sales calls.
- Manage and deliver the day to day marketing activity for the group in line with the agreed Marketing Strategy, to support the delivery of revenue targets
- Contribute to the creative process of all group communications and websites
- Manage and coordinate the group Communications Plan to ensure that all communications are targeted at the right audience and delivered on time
- Track campaign success to enable the company to understand the return on investment of each activity and aid future promotion plans through effective reporting
- Work closely with and manage the design team to deliver innovative and creative marketing material
- Ensure that the best possible rates are achieved through suppliers when ordering marketing material and other services
- Responsible for the production of a monthly marketing report for the group, detailing key achievements, activity undertaken and future key initiatives
- Provide support in the management of press events, and responsible for the management of marketing expos
- Analyse the market (evaluation of the positioning and differentiation of PHG units, trends in the various segments in terms of volume/revenue, competitive analysis, evaluation of new markets of opportunities, studies of trends of nationalities, etc.)
- Detect business opportunities, design and organise strategies and sales programmes for the unit
- New product development that continually pushes the boundaries of what is possible, creating truly unique and exciting groups experiences and trips.
- Manage costs in line with revenues and budgets effective to ensure a profitable business unit
