**CUSTOMER LIAISON**

**INTRODUCTION**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for Customer Liaison person, with a leading supplier of high-quality fabrics, rugs, wallpaper and homeware for both local and international markets. The position is based in Kramerville, Johannesburg

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- National Senior Certificate
- Tertiary qualification advantages
- 6 years’ experience in customer service
- Computer literate, MS Office (Advance Excel)
- Knowledge of têxtiles/fabric industry advantages

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- The Customer Liaison is responsible for customer service complaints, inquiries and support for sales managers.
- Complaints processed and responded to in line with guidelines and policies
- Weekly import and additional product figures collated and reported to managers
- Stock checks, price checks (retail vs. wholesale) and reservation requests responded to accurately on the same day
- Written customer communications typed up, filed and distributed
- Feedback on queries and delivery dates is provided
- Payment followed up; queries resolved with Finance
- Account queries resolved before sale is processed
- Assist with product information, price queries & replacements
- Handling of claims & credits, back orders
- Ability to multitask, prioritize & manage time effectively
- Support for sales managers
- Meetings set up, venue/catering booked in accordance to budget allocation, documentation, meeting packs, reports and presentations available in advance, minutes of meetings recorded and circulated, post meeting actions completed and communication sent within agreed timeframes
