- National Through the line Key Account management
- Building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with On Trade Customers for the designated region.
- Monitoring and reporting competition in the market.
- Ensuring optimum distribution and visibility of our brands.
- Execute trade initiatives ensuring that all volume and activation targets are achieved
- Negotiate, implement, and manage AVQPAP rights for strategic on trade customers.
- Implementations of integrated activity plans for designated region.
- Identify opportunities to maximise portfolio growth.
- Having a hands-on approach in the designated region and support your manager in in your region on operational marketing and commercial activity.
- Providing feedback on the market growth and potential.
- Driving belonging through team engagement including best in class front line capability management.
- Coordinating with marketing to implement and report on best practice.
- Develop exemplary collaborative customer partnerships through world class account plans and joint business plans.
- Management of profit and NSV targets - “owning the numbers”.
- Consistent execution of a clear, simple, and powerful customer / channel strategy.
- Develop and orchestrate end-to-end relationships via a cross functional network within Bacardi and the customer base
- Drive and measure the highest standards of execution.
- Utilizing shopper and category insights, make informed decisions to support the creation of powerful category strategies and breakthrough performance.
- Participate in S&OP process - giving account-specific inputs and utilizing outputs to develop accurate forecasting.
- Monitor, evaluate and advise on Brand/Customer volume, trends, and dynamics.
**MIS and Reporting**
- Assist building budget preparations and revisions as requested.
- Regional Key Account M&E (SONAR)
- Budget tracking and status
- Monthly Sales out report and analysis
- Monthly Marketing reporting (IAP, best practice, ROI, Activity Implementation).
- QBR reporting for Key Account performance
Skills and Experience
- THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:
- Johannesburg based
- Minimum 2 years key account customer management experience
- Proven track record with key account customer budget management
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with a proven track record in sales
- FMCG experience essential and spirits business knowledge is a bonus
- Knowledge of local market
- Proficiency in MS Office & English
- PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Strong commercial skills with proven track record in sales
- Be self-motivated & have a sense of ownership, Entrepreneurial and hard worker.
- Proactive and Can-do attitude, Organised and well planned
- Comfortable working with figures, have financial skills and be able to develop strategies from analysis
- Team-working skills are vital. Able to multi-task.
