**Job Advert**: Guest Relations Officer - Luxury 5 Wine Estate, Stellenbosch

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Guest Relations Officer to join an esteemed 5-star Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring every guest's experience, from arrival to departure, is seamless, aligning with all policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:
Warmly welcome and introduce guests to the property.
Efficiently handle guest check-in and check-out processes.
Liaise with various departments, passing on pertinent guest information.
Assist guests with bookings, tours, transfers, and create tailored itineraries.
Maintain accurate guest information and rates records.
Act as the point of contact for external guests and support restaurant as needed.
Update and manage guest profiles on Protel.
Address maintenance concerns promptly, reporting to the manager on duty.
Prepare welcome letters, registration cards, and manage guests' daily call log.
Collaborate with reservations, Spa, Housekeeping, and f&b departments as required.
Handle lunch and dinner bookings using Dine-plan.
Conduct comprehensive handovers with the Night Auditor and cover Night Audit duties twice a month.
Ensure all transfers are arranged, tracked, and billed.

**Requirements**:
Hospitality Certificate/Diploma.
2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong computer proficiency and excellent administration skills.
Passionate about the hospitality industry.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
Customer-service-oriented with outstanding people skills.
Ability to maintain professional relationships across various departments, cultures, and religions.
Comfortable engaging with distinguished clientele.
Well-presented, friendly, helpful, and outgoing.
Punctual, self-disciplined, and detail-oriented.
Proactive attitude and a team player.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
