HR Business Partner

**Job purpose**
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

**HR Operations**
- Responsible for managing the employee lifecycle for the relevant area which includes recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, corrective action, training and development and terminations
- Responsible for monthly payroll submissions that ensure that employees are accurately paid
**Strategic HR**
- Partners with senior leaders in the business in order to develop HR plans that will enable the leaders to meet its operational objectives through strategic workforce planning, analysing trends and metrics and advising on it and managing and resolving complex employee relations issues
- Works closely with management to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
- Acts as trusted advisor in terms of labour relations, employee behaviour and psychometric
**HR Projects**
- Responsible for the effective implementation and execution of HR projects within specified timelines and budget
**Employee Relations**
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and career development.
**Organizational Development**
- Design and implement organizational development programs based on industrial psychology research to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and job satisfaction.
**Training and Development**
- Identify skill gaps and training needs within the organization. Develop and implement training programs that leverage industrial psychology principles to maximize learning effectiveness and employee development.
**Performance Management**
- Implement performance management systems that are fair, transparent, and aligned with organizational goals. Use industrial psychology insights to improve performance evaluation processes and foster continuous improvement.
**Change Management**

**Compliance and Risk Management**
- Stay updated on labour laws and regulations. Ensure HR policies and practices comply with legal requirements and mitigate employment-related risks.
**Job requirements**
**Qualifications and experience**
- NQF 7 in Industrial and organizational psychology or related field
- 3-5 years HR Generalist
- 2-3 years’ Experience working in a blue-collar environment
