You will have a good understanding of the travel landscape as it relates to human motivation and desire to travel, especially the paths and influences of purchase. A smart and considered thinker, you will be able to communicate strategy to key stakeholders and keep them on side. You are a capable, friendly, and comfortable communicator with a high level of fluency in the English language.

As someone who has deep knowledge of City Unscripted values and mission, at all times, you will iterate on strategies to ensure there is no compromise to authenticity whilst systematically building City Unscripted’s presence in the travel market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Own and support a performance strategy that delivers sales at a + ROI whilst building brand and scale.
- Maximise consumer value to the business through continual contact and relationship building from user sign-up to post-purchase (i.e., Review management).
- Own the business-to-consumer relationship and be a consumer champion regarding change requests and data gathering.
- Constantly test and iterate on new strategies and platforms to ensure we are always on the front foot when it comes to optimisation and development.
- Ensure the overall health of the company's CRM marketing function.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure your resources are up-to-date and as effective as possible.
- Recommend software and tools that can support the program's growth and continually develop your skills to stay sharp.
- Research products, individuals, and locations to add extra depth to your content.
- Be data-driven and target-motivated to achieve the business KPIs via the channels in your charge.
- Support the technical needs of a CRM marketing program such as tracking and continual development.
- Regularly report performance to senior management in a concise and data-informed fashion.
- Identify role efficiencies, such as the use of AI as a support (not lead).

**Key skills**:

- Extremely proactive and keen to own the role and function.
- Exceptional English proficiency coupled with excellent writing skills.
- Knowledge of the Klaviyo CRM product is an advantage.
- Possess a creative approach to your work and always keen to try new things and experiment on the normal.
- Deep experience with the Google suite, Meta, and TikTok and how they can contribute to overall CRM aims is a distinct advantage.
- Fluency with data and performance metrics associated with this role.
- Commercially literate and competent in discussing traffic metrics, gross order values to margin percentages.
- Strategically driven and capable of setting out full-funnel strategies.
- Understanding of the travel landscape, its paths to purchase, and consumer motivations.
- Experience working with licensed or trademark brands is advantageous.
- Comfortable owning an organic role where no two days are the same.
- You're comfortable and experienced with large brands and large-scale activations.

Pay: R1 500,00 - R2 200,00 per day
