Procurement/tender & Accounts Administrator

Position available**:Procurement/Tender & Accounts Administrator / Office Manager**
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Researching and finding best prices for each item purchased.
- Sending out requests for quotations.
- Create and Maintain a database of suppliers.
- Negotiate with suppliers terms and conditions and bulk order discounts etc.
- Clear communication over the phone, to take orders etc.
- Placing Purchase orders with suppliers using Sage Accounting software.
- Communicating with all sites on their requirements and once orders are placed to notify them when their orders will arrive on site.
- Ability to perform clerical administration duties.
- Maintain cell phone contracts for business and deal with external suppliers.
- Point of contact for dealing with external suppliers for telephone, photocopiers, general office maintenance etc.
- Point of contact to deal with IT issues, such as purchasing Microsoft office, anti-virus software, dealing with external services providers for PC repairs
- Assisting with weekly wages and payroll.
- Filing of purchase orders correctly for easy access
- Placing orders for stationary/groceries and other duties as required to achieve the expected department goals
- Ability to take instructions and perform general administrative tasks as required
- Attend to related meeting as required
- Ensure to follow all procedures according to the required standards
- Assisting Accounts to file and convert Purchase order to Invoices
- Assisting Accounts with capturing invoices, delivery notes etc.
- General Office Management
**Applicable Qualifications and experience**:
- Matric certificate
- 2 years administration experience
- 27 years or younger (junior post)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Fully computer literate with skills in various Microsoft Office Packages

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
