Role Purpose
Implementation and execution of Investo’s marketing and channel enablement initiatives, within area of responsibility. Accountable for the implementation of the Investo strategy and marketing plan in order to drive business objectives of growth and engagement.
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
- Post graduate qualification would be advantageous
- 8+ years’ relevant experience in a retail financial services industry, with 2 years related experience within an insurance industry
- 3 years’ Business development experience within a channel environment
- 3-5 years management experience
Duties & Responsibilities
**Execute marketing strategy within Investo in line with strategic objectives of growth and engagement (Internal Processes)**
- Establish productive, professional and enabling business partnerships in order to support and enhance the performance of the business
- Influence, through partnership with channel management, best practice marketing initiatives in line with business objectives
- Create strategic partnerships with relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to understand business priorities and requirements
- Identify, implement and oversee marketing initiatives aimed at growing sales
- Develop marketing plans in line with the marketing strategy for the achievement of business growth by partnering with channel management
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the target markets in order to identifying trends, opportunities, threats and environmental influences.
- Contribute to the implementation and operational planning of our Client Value Proposition (CVP).
- Identify, explore and present business development opportunities and align the marketing programmes closely with sales and business objectives.
- Identify partnership opportunities that support the marketing strategy and collaborate with the team on these initiatives and opportunities
- Utilise competitor activity insights to ensure the marketing offering is well-positioned in order to enhance the delivery of objectives
- Research marketing trends on a continuous basis and providing such expertise to enhance business initiatives
- In partnership with the product solutions team, provide technical marketing support to the channel in the form of face-to-face and digital presentations as well as other forms of technical marketing documentation, on an ongoing as well as ad hoc basis.
- In partnership with the product solutions team, deliver product training material that enables innovative ways of training, support the channel in making product information practical
**Engage with distribution partners and channel management in a client centric manner improving client growth, engagement (Client centricity enablement)**
- Collaborate with marketing partners within the business distribution areas with the purpose of unlocking value-adding initiatives that support the development of business objectives.
- Make marketing recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility
- Participate and contribute to a culture which builds sustainable relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service
- Build and maintain business partnerships with clients and internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the process of negotiating objective and realistic service level agreements, monitor appropriateness and recommend adjustments where applicable and in line with business needs
- Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are appropriately managed
**Manage budget and implement sound financial controls within area of responsibility**(Finance)**
- Provide support with marketing campaigns, within budget constraints that will yield a competitive advantage
- Align marketing initiatives within budget for area, including the authorisation of expenditures and implementation of financial regulations.
