**Description**:
Our client in the agricultural industry is looking for a presentable, detail-driven, and organised individual with excellent numerical and communication skills (Afrikaans & English). This position is ideal for someone that thrives in a fast-paced work environment requiring the ability to multitask.
The incumbent will report to the General Manager, and key performance areas will include: *Procurement: Conducting monthly stock takes, purchasing and managing of office and production supplies, receiving, controlling and coordinating storage of deliveries, providing administrative support. *Despatch: Coordinating of deliveries according to schedule; controlling tray, crate & pallet returns and communicating with clients. *CEO & GM support: Assisting CEO & GM with various tasks relating to business operations, providing administrative support, organising staff functions and events.*Reception & general office management: Managing switchboard, welcoming visitors, managing cleaner and seeing to general office housekeeping, filing & record keeping, HR & OHS administrative support. *All ad hoc duties related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Matric with 5+ years’ relevant experience OR
- A relevant tertiary qualification with 2-3 years' relevant experience in a similar role;
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office);
- Own reliable transport;
- Willingness to work overtime during peak periods.
Area of work: Outskirts of Stellenbosch (between Kraaifontein and Klapmuts).
