**VACANCY: SALES EXECUTIVE**

The 350-roomed President Hotel is situated in Bantry Bay and is a favourite amongst locals and internationals because of its luxury

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The role involves shared responsibility with the Head of Sales in executing The President Hotel's strategic plan for revenue growth. This
includes fostering guest experience, brand enhancement, and market penetration. Responsibilities encompass attracting guests, diners,
and delegates, collaborating on sales promotions, and setting goals. Key duties include maintaining existing accounts, expanding
business from prospects, and identifying new opportunities through market research and outreach. A focus on government, shipping,
film, TMCs, and corporates is paramount. Additionally, upselling hotel services to guests is crucial, requiring thorough knowledge of all
offerings.
**Key skills**:
Sales Executives are the key point of contacts between an organisation and its clients: answering queries, offering advice, and
introducing new products.
**Their work includes**:
- organising sales visits
- demonstrating/presenting products
- acquiring new business
- maintaining accurate records
- attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
- reviewing sales performance
- negotiating contracts
**Responsibilities include: (NOT ALL RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED - PLEASE ENQUIRE IN INTERVIEW)**
- Attending weekly Commercial meetings
- Co-ordinate, conduct and complete follow up actions on Sales Calls
- Co-ordinate and complete follow up actions on property inspection
- Make calls to clients as listed on your data base
- Attend networking related functions
- Provide the Head of Sales with the required information on any of your current or new clients by maintaining a good client
- database
- Provide a business plan explaining how you would achieve your required targets through your Sales report
- No Less than 15 face-to-face sales calls per week on any new or existing clients are acceptable
- Achieve targets to be set out by the Head of Sales
- Identifying clients not currently delivering to their maximum potential at the President Hotel and ensuring that the business is
- channelled to our Hotel, if need be by redeveloping relationships.
- Traveling to South Africa’s and Southern Africa’s key commerce markets and developing relationships with clientele requiring
- Cape Town accommodation.
- Driving Sales revenues through
- Working with reservations to improve conversion rates
- Proactive sales initiatives developed within your team
- Maximising the President Hotel brand awareness and loyalty
- Securing corporate or other market segment contracts
**Requirements**:
- A diploma in sales & marketing would be advantageous.
- Computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to source clients and tie down contracts.
- Target and sales driven.
