Sales Executive

The Sales Executive will be responsible for bringing in guests, diners and delegates and ultimately making the hotel money. They will work with senior sales managers and the revenue manager to plan sales promotions, set sales goals, and train staff. They will not only seek out business with individual guests but also typically meet with larger groups such as tour operators, travel agents and corporates. Agreements with large groups will allow for successful repeat business, which generates sales for the entire company. Sell and upsell the prospective and current guests on the hotel's services, such as dining options, conference facilities. Possessing complete knowledge of all of the services the hotel offers is important for making a successful sale.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 and a formal qualifications
- Proven track record and experience in the hospitality industry
- Valid Driver’s license is a requirement
- Knowledge of the wedding market would be advantageous
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Needs to have strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, Opera and Sales Force would be preferred;
- Must have the ability to conduct sales calls and business negotiations virtually
- Must be able to negotiate effectively through identifying client needs
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Enthusiastic, stress resistant and always professional
- Excellent command of English, however other languages would be an added advantage.
