Active hands-on approach to manage and lead the company’s regional sales and merchandiser team under your supervision and guidance to build culture and align initiatives and targets to company strategy and budget.
- Closely monitor sales and merchandising team members performance through the achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to ensure optimal team activity and output.
- **Numerical ability** design, formulate and calculation of KPI from sales data for each of your team members;
- Show extensive examples of outstanding service to customers, both personally and via a team.
- Meet with key clients to assist Sales Reps with maintaining /fostering relationships and negotiating/closing deals.
- Promoting and listing of new products with the corporate customers. Experience with product listing documents using Excel with the FMCG group.
- Must have the ability to build business relationships with key industry influencers, group customer heads, FMCG customers and independent people as part of the overall initiative to ensure understanding of their needs and business, and to grow the company brand and sales within our market.
- Develop and maintain a market intelligence system to ensure detailed knowledge of competitors and product trends.

**Qualifications**
- 5 years experience as a Sales Manager for a wholesaler or manufacturer;
- 5 years field sales experience required
- **High Ethics.** This manager needs to be of impeccable ethics. High integrity management will be essential to the delivery of our company’s vision of being the most admired company, and how that will be achieved through impeccable ethics.
- Computer literate with advanced **Excel skills** a must;
- Matric, tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Valid driver’s license and reliable own transport and willing to travel extensively to customers and reps in your team to monitor and motivate;
- This manager must have a proven track record of delivering exceptional results over an extended period, both personally and through teams
- This manager must be passionate about hitting and exceeding targets, have a deep understanding of exactly how our business is performing in all key areas, and possess huge internal drive and motivation.
- Experience with FMCG advantageous.

The annual salary can be up to R600k plus benefit and company car.

**Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.**
