Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to take on the role of Head of Commercial Capability Sales for the Southern Africa region.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a robust business development and sales strategy for the region.
  • Lead and manage the integration of sales and operations planning, ensuring alignment with commercial strategies.
  • Design innovative, cross-capability solutions tailored to market demands.
  • Drive customer attraction, retention, and expansion strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Analyze and report business performance metrics, providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to align strategies and implement end-to-end solutions.
  • Oversee tender and contract management processes, ensuring compliance and profitability.
  • Foster key client relationships and identify growth opportunities in both new and existing markets.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, utilizing insights to refine strategies and deliver innovative client solutions.
  • Manage and mentor sales teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.

  • Expertise in contract management and handling RFPs.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on revenue growth and profitability.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively across the region.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in business development and sales within logistics or supply chain sectors.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale commercial projects and leading diverse teams.
  • Experience in the Southern Africa region with a strong network in the industry.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant post-graduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
