Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to take on the role of Head of Commercial Capability Sales for the Southern Africa region.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a robust business development and sales strategy for the region.
- Lead and manage the integration of sales and operations planning, ensuring alignment with commercial strategies.
- Design innovative, cross-capability solutions tailored to market demands.
- Drive customer attraction, retention, and expansion strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze and report business performance metrics, providing actionable insights.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to align strategies and implement end-to-end solutions.
- Oversee tender and contract management processes, ensuring compliance and profitability.
- Foster key client relationships and identify growth opportunities in both new and existing markets.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, utilizing insights to refine strategies and deliver innovative client solutions.
- Manage and mentor sales teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, and transport industries.
- Proven track record in selling integrated end-to-end solutions.
- Exceptional strategic planning and implementation capabilities.
- Advanced client relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in analyzing market trends and customer data.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
- Expertise in contract management and handling RFPs.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on revenue growth and profitability.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across the region.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in business development and sales within logistics or supply chain sectors.
- Proven success in managing large-scale commercial projects and leading diverse teams.
- Experience in the Southern Africa region with a strong network in the industry.
- Relevant post-graduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
