Outline

Relevant Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:

- 5-7 years working experience as a KAM with at least 5 years in the clearing and forwarding industry
- Must have Key Account/Account Management experience within the Freight and Logistics industry (Sea, Air and Road)
- Current and previous operations experience required with the Air Freight and Sea Freight industry
- Operations background would be a distinct advantage
- Servicing & Sales, International Trade principles & practice
- Macro and Micro factors impacting the business environment
- Company Standard trading conditions and liability limitations
- Terms of payment and relevant finance fees. CRM tools, INCOTERMS
- Carrier & depot conditions of trade. National currencies and international codes
- Computer literacy (Intermediate competency utilising Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Power Point, Share Point and Outlook
- Strong communication and Interpersonal skills
- Business acumen. Presentation & Negotiation skills -intermediate
- Client/service orientation. Situation analysis & problem solving
- Judgment & decision making
- Creative & innovative thinking
- Action & result orientation

Education Required:

- Matric
- 1 Year Sales & Marketing related qualification at an NQF Level 5

Overall Responsibilities Include:

- Acquire new business (Only in a Hybrid Role)
- Retain and grow the current book of business
- Client Servicing
- Record client information
- Report on Servicing Activities
- Comply with the requirements of the quality management system
- Ad Hoc
