**MANAGER: PARKING AND TRANSPORT SERVICES**
**DEPARTMENT: UNIVERSITY ESTATE, FACILITIES AND TECHNICAL SERVICES**
The incumbent will report to the Director: Facilities. S/he will manage a pool of vehicles and
related fleet management administration. S/he will also develop and manage University wide
parking masterplan and parking allocation system.
**Requirements**:
- NQF level 8 qualification in Logistics or Transport Management.
- At least 8 years’ experience in Transport management services.
- 3 out of the 8 years should have been at management level.
- 4 years’ experience of utilising a transport scheduling and management software.
- Proven record of accomplishment of change management.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office package.
- Expert level analysis and reporting skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies to decrease cost and improve
efficiency.
- Ability to work with high volume transport operations.
- Understanding of basic motor vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when
major repairs are needed.
- Solid knowledge of all modes of transport regulations, and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities.
