**Job Purpose**

The Sales & Accounts Manager is required to firstly attain and then partner with customers to ensure the long-term success with the company. The incumbent will be responsible for developing new business and expanding existing client engagements. Foster long-term relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. The incumbent will liaise with customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and service offerings to current and future customers. Alternative duties, assignments and projects may be afforded to the employee and the job profile may be amended from time to time as may be required by the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customers.
- Actively generate additional business from existing and new customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and solutions according to customer needs.
- Clearly communicate and report sales progress on a weekly basis to internal stakeholders.
- Participate in tender management and drafting of proposals.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Develop sector specific sales targets.
- Develop sales pipeline.
- Effectively manage customer contract execution, renewals, amendments, and terms.
- Actively manage Company data base of all clients and customers.
- Participation in all company marketing events and exhibitions as and when required.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- A minimum of 3 years of proven sales, customer and/or account management experience within the aviation and/or defense sectors.
- Evidence of successful new business development.
- Previous experience in working directly with local defense clients.

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**
- emonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service orientation.
- Well organised and results driven.
- Valid driver’s license with own transport.
- SA citizenship or SA permanent residency essential.

**Salary**: R0.50 - R1.00 per month
