**About the role**

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Coordinate Trustee meetings, take minutes, and distribute agendas.
- Contact alumni of GVI as required to introduce them to GVI Charitable Programs and get them involved in awareness raising and donation raising.
- Update GlobalGiving pages with current fundraisers and submit any necessary compliance information.
- Provide program managers with a summary of donations received and chase any reports as required.
- Serve as a liaison between GVI and GVI Charitable Programs to ensure effective communication between the two organizations and alignment.
- Respond to inquiries from volunteers, donors, partners, and the public in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the creation of promotional materials, newsletters, and social media content.
- Maintain the website and keep information up-to-date.
- Maintain up-to-date contact lists for stakeholders and distribute relevant information as required.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including data protection and privacy.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits as required.

**Professional skills and experience**:

- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a non-profit or charity organization.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
- A passion for making a positive impact and a strong commitment to GVI's mission and values.
- Experience with graphic design, social media management, or event planning is desirable.
