Job Summary:
Our Client is seeking a dynamic individual to join the team as an Client Service Manager. The Client Service manager for the Insurance Broker provides vital support to the insurance brokerage office by handling administrative and clerical tasks. This role ensures the smooth operation of the office, allowing insurance brokers to focus on client relationships and sales. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
New business Applications:
- Create on Sanfin: client info and tasks
- Info gathering (ID’s, bank detail, address etc)
- Application form preparation and esign
- Submit for NUB
- Info gathering and distribution of medical requirements
- Ensure requirements are received
- Application issuing
Alterations:
- Info gathering (ID’s, bank detail, address etc)

Section 14 Transfers / Pension Transfers
- Info gathering and submission of applications
- Ensure transfers are finalised
Living Benefits and Death Claims:
- Obtain requirements from client
- Follow up on claim progress
- Ensure finalisation
Sanlam Trust
- Assist with registration of deceased estates
- Requirement submission, feedback to beneficiaries of progress and finalisation
Client service (together with Personal Assistant):
- Any client queries or issues
- Contact detail changes
- Beneficiary / Nominee changes

Distribution and monitoring of Personal Assistant’s duties
Monthly target:
- Ensure efficient and timely progress to obtain monthly target
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Matric and a business administration diploma would be beneficial
- Experience: Prior experience in a Client Service consultant / leader / administrative role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Sanfin and familiarity with office management software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanour.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively, work well under pressure.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
- Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues as needed.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in Afrikaans and English
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Insurance Knowledge: Basic understanding of insurance products and services.
- Customer Service Experience: Experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on client satisfaction.
