Leading a sales team
- Motivate the sales team (BDOs/F&Is) to generate leads, build client relationships, and meet customer needs
- Work with the inventory team to ensure there are enough vehicles and spare parts to meet customer demand and market trends
- Track and analyse sales statistics, such as sales volume, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction
- Create and implement sales strategies to gain new accounts, counter competitors promotions, and meet sales goals
- Prepare sales budgets and projections, and approve expenditures
- Plan and direct the hiring and training of new BDOs/F&Is collaboratively with the GM
- Work closely with other departments to ensure the dealership runs smoothly and profitably
- The SM is responsible for evaluating the Performance Appraisal of his subordinate BDOs/F&Is
- Clientricity, Integrity, Accountability, Fairness, Professionalism, Competence, Confidentiality
- Minimum of 3-5 years in same or similar role as heavy / medium truck Sales Manager in a Commercial Motor Industry environment
- Excellent understanding of automotive industry
- Goal / Target driven
- Commercial Vehicle experience ESSENTIAL
