Job Description:

Babantle Experts is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the commercial sales of our fleet of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of the commercial vehicle market in the Gauteng Inland Region to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
  • New Business Development: Identify and approach new businesses that may benefit from our commercial vehicles and related services.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Lead the negotiation and closing of commercial vehicle sales, ensuring favourable terms for both the company and the customer.
  • Truck Body Builder Collaboration: Work closely with truck body builders to ensure that their modifications and equipment are following company OEM standards.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A Grade 12 certificate.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Commercial Sales Executive or similar role.
  • A successful sales track record, with networking and cold calling as an integral part of the process.
  • Excellent networking and negotiating skills, with the ability to source new business.
  • An existing database (advantageous).
  • A valid SA driver's license Code 10 and up is essential.
  • Knowledge of the latest ranges in commercial models.
  • Vehicle financing knowledge (advantageous).
  • Understanding of financial statements and tax implications.
  • Special license and registration processing expertise.
