Your role:

We are looking for a SAIPA registered accountant who has completed their articles at a professional services firm.

  • Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department
  • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
  • Participate in regular tax audits and payroll
  • Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
  • Manage month end and year end closing
  • Team supervision, coaching, performance management, training and succession planning. Participating in setting and achieving individual performance and development objectives to support a high performing culture
  • Review and submit all relevant statutory and regulatory returns performed by the accounting team
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and optimisations to drive value and minimize the cost

What you need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting at a recognized institution
  • Completed 3 years of SAIPA Articles
  • Exposure to accounting systems
