Our client in Stellenbosch is seeking a Wine Lounge Supervisor to support the Wine Lounge Manager/Assistant Wine Lounge Manager in overseeing daily operations within the Wine Lounge.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent

SECTOR : Hospitality

BASIC SALARY : Market Related

START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12
- Preferably 1-2 years previous restaurant supervision/wine tasting experience
- Passionate about wine and the hospitality industry
- Applicable product knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal
- & communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
- Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
- Must be well-presented
- Flexibility and Accountability
- Enthusiastic personality

**DUTIES**:

- Communicating relevant information to Wine Lounge team, Wine Lounge Manager/Assistant Wine Lounge Manager, Cellar and guests
- Engaging with the guests in the Lounge by being present, keeping an eye on service and constant interaction with guests and responding to their needs and requests.
- Training and quality control of Wine Lounge staff
- Doing daily cash-ups and notifying any other departments/suppliers of relevant information and daily orders.
- General administrative duties, including record keeping, staff management & training
