What's the job?

What are your responsibilities?

  • Provide business support to Channel Partner(s), both strategic and technical, to develop sales and achieve targets whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Day to day channel partner management including quotes, shipping issues, organizing demonstrations
  • Strategic development of the territory including the recruitment and development of new channel partners and setting and enabling challenging targets for growth
  • Working with the channel partners to provide a high level of customer support and customer satisfaction
  • Working with the channel partners to develop and perform marketing activities including user days, seminars and customer meetings.
  • Providing reports and forecasts to management on expected sales
What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Technical background, at least a bachelor's degree in chemistry, material sciences mining
  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in a technical environment (mining, building materials, metals or petrochemicals)
  • Previous experience with Xray analysis equipment and channel partner management would be an advantage
  • Commercial acumen
  • Proactive attitude, proven commercial skills, well organized and ambitious
  • Stress resistant
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prepared to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Fluent in the English language, additional language skills are a plus
