Role Impact
As Nexford's Channel Partner Manager, you'll be a key player in driving the next phase of our growth strategy through strategic channel and affiliate marketing partnerships.
You will directly contribute to company growth targets as well as well as strategic CAC targets, both of which are high priorities in 2024.
Your efforts in nurturing these partnerships and leveraging affiliate networks will not only enhance our brand but also open new avenues for learner recruitment and community building.
You're more than a manager; you're a pivotal link in our mission to make quality education accessible.A Day in the Life of a Channel Partner Manager*No two days are the same in this role. Your schedule is as varied as the relationships you forge and manage.
Here's a snapshot of what you might encounter:

Morning: Begin with a strategic review of your channel partner pipeline, analyzing data to gauge whether you're on track to meeting goals. You had a few pending follow-up items with channels you reached out to last week and you complete those.
Midday:
You have strategy calls scheduled with the Growth and Product teams. The focus will be on finalizing partnerships with three key channels poised to drive lead generation and subsequent enrollments.
Among these is a collaboration with a recruitment platform set to endorse Nexford's offerings to a learner community eager for qualifications in data analytics.
Afternoon:
You dedicate an hour to researching new channel partners for outreach over the next few days.
Then you shift focus to relationship building with three current partners; you call them to walk them through the number of enrollments we generated from them over the past 30 days and discuss ideas on how we can add more value to their community through joint webinars about skills in highest demand within the fintech sector.
Evening:
Close out the day by preparing insights and data for your end-of-month reports due the next day.
Key Responsibilities
The Constants:
- Forge and sustain partnerships with a range of channels and affiliates across the world to drive learner recruitment and brand presence.
- Serve as the primary liaison, maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with channel partners and providing exceptional support throughout the relationship, including managing affiliate marketing efforts.
- Diligently monitor and report on channel and affiliate performance, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and KPIs.
The Variables:
- Coorganize and support online and offline events that strengthen our brand awareness in partnership with our channel partners.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to align channel and affiliate marketing strategies with marketing initiatives and learning content development.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a bonus.
- 5+ years of international experience in channel or affiliate marketing, with a proven track record in recruitment and partnership management (_extra points if you have EdTech experience)_
- Skilled in communication and negotiation, adept at establishing rapport and influencing partners.
- Proficient in using CRM, with a knack for analytics to drive recruitment strategies.
- Agile and responsive, with an ability to manage complex projects and multitask effectively.
- Innate understanding of partner ecosystems, with the ability to navigate diverse organizational structures and cultures.
