We are looking for a


People Operations Services Consultant:
Talent Management, to join our team based in our
Centurion Office. This position reports directly to the Head of People Operations Services.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management / Industrial Psychology or related fields
  • At least three (3) years of HR specialist experience in driving and administering Performance Management, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Employment Equity implementation
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR legislation, policies and procedures especially in talent management space

People Operations Consultant:

Head of People Operations Services

Mandate:

To implement talent management activities which include but not limited to talent reviews, competency profiling, succession planning, performance management process & system, employment equity, learning and development, organizational development interventions and employee wellness and wellbeing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning, coordinating and execution of the HR related talent management activities within the POPS department.
  • Drive talent management processes and initiatives organizationalwide in alignment with the incountry labour legislations and industrywide best practice.
  • Lead the implementation of Employment Equity framework to reporting to the DOL in accordance to the requirements of the law.
  • Lead the implementation of SETA training requirements to reporting, incudling the submission of ATR and the WSP. Conduct skills audit and report on skills gaps identified.
  • Drive the implementation of all learning and development initiatives in the organization.
  • Lead the coordination of employee wellness initiatives in conjunction with the team to advance the wellbeing of all staff.
  • Drive the uptake and compliance of the performance management process.
  • Assist line management in curating clearer job description and profiles for various roles within the organization.
  • Support line management in grading roles to maintain the job grading structure in line with the organization strategy outlook.
  • Keeps up to date with all HRrelated regulatory, legislative and best practice developments and updates.
  • Performs any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Head of People Operations.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management / Industrial Psychology or related fields
.

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources Management / Industrial Psychology or related fields will be an added advantage.
  • At least three (3) years of HR specialist experience in driving and administering Performance Management, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Employment Equity implementation
.

  • Knowledge and understanding of HR legislation, policies and procedures esp. in talent management space.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Organisational Development principles.
  • Confident communicator with sound interpersonal skills; capable of establishing strong connections with employees across all levels of the company.
  • Excellent Planning and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in using MS office packages as an End-User.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and juggle competing priorities.
  • Able to balance the need to take direction and take initiative.
  • Strong work ethic, with a commitment to quality.
  • Driver's license is required.
