M3 Core Description

To formulate strategic partnerships within the HR function, and across the assigned Business Unit (i.e., CPS / DPS / ConCom / CSO / SS), by enabling and leading the delivery of value-add people solutions and services.

The role is responsible for providing strategic guidance for people processes within the specific BU and with regards to the implementation of key HR/ Business solutions and services that support Business Unit specific objectives, while aligning to the overarching HR/ Business Strategy of the BU and objectives of BCX Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

  • Translate the strategic objectives from the HR/ Business strategy, customise this to support key BU objectives (i.e., CPS / DPS / ConCom / CSO / SS) and drive the achievement of BU HR/ Business goals, in accordance with the overarching HR/ Business strategy.
  • Provide input into the overarching HR/ Business strategy by highlighting and feeding back specific trends, operational realities, and key BU priorities from the assigned BU and closing any detected gaps, to ensure continuous alignment with the overarching HR/ Business strategy.
  • Drive the creation of an enabling environment within the assigned BU that will empower Line Managers and Employees to take charge of their careers through the implementation of tools, processes, and support mechanisms.
  • Champion the HR/ Business digital transformation agenda and the associated behavioural and technological adoption and pivoting required of the assigned BU, through leveraging technology for HR/ Business impact, to effectively transform people practices within the BU.
  • Create a receptive environment within the assigned BU by increasing Line Manager's and Employee's awareness towards the use and benefit of new technological solutions.
  • Advise and guide management on futureoriented people specific needs and solutions, by building strategic partnerships across the HR/ Business and BU ecosystems and leveraging digital analytics to provide people trends and statistics, for decision making and proactive risk management.
  • Liaise with the Talent Optimisation team and oversee the implementation of Talent Acquisition initiatives (e.g., recruitment, selection, development, HIPO and key role talent and dependencies within the BU) to build a highperforming BU that can deliver on key BU objectives, in an agile and timeous manner.
  • Implement tactical planning, aligned with the BU and overarching HR/ Business strategy, to optimise the implementation of people interventions within the BU, to prioritise HR/ Business interventions for optimal impact.
  • Ensure people information credibility through a consistent drive for data accuracy, across the employee lifecycle.
  • Utilise and cascade information and data dashboards at all levels of the BU, to inform HR/ Business initiatives implemented regarding Performance, Succession, Learning and Development opportunities, and develop peoplecentric solutions, tailored to the assigned BU's specific needs.
  • Drive the delivery of all HR/ Business practices and services within the BU, with a focus on the amplification of the Employee Experience, and by overseeing the management of HR service delivery, at a high standard of operational excellence.
  • Maintain oversight and responsibility for the implementation and embedding of defined HR/ Business strategies, initiatives, programmes, and solutions within a specific BU and in direct collaboration with all relevant stakeholders, People Leaders, and strategic Talent Leaders.
  • Monitor market trends and new HR tools to ensure that the HR/ Business strategy implements the latest HR/ Business practices, digital innovations, and people solutions, to catalyse BCX's transformation.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of targeted BU specific initiatives and/or business plans, in partnership with the Business Unit Manco and Executive Finance Business Partner, to activate the delivery on the BU Commercial Strategy, financial performance and associated targets, in accordance with the overarching Business strategy.
