Overview:
Our client, a national investment manager with reach internationally, is seeking a key member of their HR team to work closely with their Chief Human Resources Officer and to support their client base.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Proof reading and completing job requisitions on myWorkSpace, including prescreening questions
- Conduct preemployment checks
- Arrange psychometric assessments
- Obtain approval for special contractual arrangements
- Compile motivations for special contractual arrangements
- Complete and issue manual dummy payslip and letter of appointment
- Perform onboarding of new employees via myWorkSpace (SAP Success Factors)
- Facilitate onboarding plan with line manager within our clients employee experience framework
- Compile monthly recruitment cost statistics
- Follow up on queries with payroll relating to new staff
- Ensure that all new employees' outstanding documents are submitted to payroll within one month post the start date
- Manage end to end process of internal staff transfers and secondments
- Conduct exit interviews
Talent Management:
- Ensure alignment with talent framework, policies and processes
- Assist line managers with poor performance management
- Assist line managers with internal talent pool development processes
Learning and Development:
- Query handling from line managers and employees and liaising with the Learning and Development team, as required
- Active involvement in facilitating placement of learners and jobshadow opportunities
- Facilitate career conversations as required, follow up on scheduled training, suggest training interventions to support career development Manage training administration processes.
Performance Management:
- Drive continuous adoption of performance and goals
- Ensure that all employees have goals and assist with the formulation of goals, as required
- Ensure that all employees have completed midyear and year end performance reviews
Remuneration:
- Request and provide remuneration benchmarking information, when required
Industrial Relations:
- Assist line managers and employees with the interpretation and the administration of any IR/ER issues, g. disciplinary and grievance procedures.
General HR Administration:
- Personal Assistant support to the Chief HR Officer
- Query handling from line managers and employees
- Drive adoption of HR technology towards selfservice for line managers and employees
- Administration and facilitation of changes to employment contracts
- Coordinate diary management, travel arrangements and all other team administration when required
General HR Administration:
- Matric and relevant HR qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience within a similar role
- Financial Services experience will be preferable
- Success Factors / SAP experience will be preferable
- Excellent computer skills with proven proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
