Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other sales techniques.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and other key performance indicators.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential and existing customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product and service information.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure customer needs are met.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to stay current on market trends and identify new sales opportunities.
- Keep accurate and uptodate records of all sales activities and customer interactions using a CRM system
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in external sales.
- Steel/Engineering sector experience will be beneficial.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problemsolving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of the products or services offered by the company is a plus.
