Requirements:

  • BTech or 1st Degree in Industrial Engineering or related
Engineering/Construction/Project Management Degrees.

  • At least 5 years relevant experience in the Asset Management
environment focusing on Contract Management, Project

Management, Administration, Root Cause Analysis, Tender

Administrative Duties and Business Process Re-engineering.

  • Must have a high proficiency in the following computer
  • Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets with pivot table creation and
manipulation. In this context, the use of advanced excel

formulas for rapid data manipulation.

  • Microsoft Visio or CAD lite for layout drawings.
  • Root cause analysis techniques.
  • Valid Driver's licence: Code EB
Key Performance Areas

  • Coordinate and facilitate all activities related to Tenders
and Contracts by ensuring compliance to related business

processes established within Energy and the City of Cape Town.

  • Develop, implement, communicate and monitor tender and
contract programs and operational compliance.

  • Coordinating and facilitating meetings with management,
internal and external clients and fellow professionals to discuss

progress on projects, programs, policies and systems.

  • Coordinating and facilitating working groups on issues such
as technical design, maintenance tactics, strategy and policy

implementation.

  • Drafting of correspondence incorporating, reports, technical
drawings / plans / policies, safe work practices stemming from

professional input and operational needs.

  • Responding to enquiries and requests for services from clients.
  • Manage all financial related reports and requests associated
within the Tenders and Contracts space such as BIF's,

Financial Footnotes, Work Package spend against

Contract Values.
