ENERGY Senior Professional Officer

Requirements:

B degree in science, mathematics. engineering, finance or

economics

Five (5) years' relevant experience

Data management and analytical skills

Sufficient working technical and theoretical knowledge to model

estimates and forecasts of energy use and greenhouse gas

emissions in the key economic sectors at metropolitan scale

Key Performance Areas

Report city-wide energy and carbon data and analysis to

international and local platforms as well as to national

government and City partners as needed

Collect data, analyse and interpret for both monitoring and

verification of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects

and the development of stand-alone datasets and databases

Energy systems modelling particularly power sector modelling,

climate action mitigation measures modelling and greenhouse

gas inventory compilation

Coordinate stakeholder engagements, develop collaborative

programmes

and manage expectations

Represent SEM on transversal data co-ordinating committees

and provide strategic input

Ensure coordination with other relevant data bodies in the City.
