Requirements:

  • BSc/BEng or BTech in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in power distribution networks
  • Knowledge of power system modelling and analysis
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • Linux and MS Server experience
  • Knowledge of power system analysis/optimisation tools
  • Knowledge of project methodology
  • Knowledge of tenders and contract management will serve
as an advantage

  • Must be available outside of normal working hours to attend to
and direct emergency work as well as be available for

standby duties

Key Performance Areas

  • Develop working knowledge of the functionality supported
such as Research and self-study using the documentation

provided with the system and other resources as well as

attend ADMS User Group seminars, trainings and seminars

  • Manage the portfolio of ADMS projects to minimise overlap
and co-ordinate project inter-dependencies and

cross-cutting impacts, schedule and participate in

regular project reviews and inter-disciplinary checks

and evaluate the feasibility of project proposals and

assign resources top projects

  • Develop ADMS reporting and data manipulation which includes
using reporting and programming tools supplied with the

ADMS system, such as SPL programming and reporting tools

  • Mentor staff by coordinating training on aspects of the
ADMS system and provide guidance on how to initiate,

execute and document ADMS projects
