Sales Specialist

Key purpose:
As a Sales Specialist, you will liaise with senior management regarding new business opportunities or strategies which can potentially drive additional revenues for the company.
You may also support Business Development Managers by providing strategic advice around key areas such as pricing strategy or marketing campaigns in order to improve conversion rates from leads.
Additionally, you should have a good understanding of our key technology partners, which include Microsoft, Dell Technologies, HPe, VMware, Nutanix, Veritas, and Veeam (not exclusively).
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ongoing engagements with clients to understand their business while uncovering requirements that match our service offerings and lead to opportunities to close mutually beneficial business.
- Work closely within the client and internal team to retain all existing services and solutions in your client patch.
- Assist in defining and validating global use cases that are appropriate within your clients.
- Sales target and sale cycle management.
- Display experience in sales forecasting.
- Support the closure of sales based on technology domain knowledge.
- Maintain a high level of relevant product and service knowledge to have meaningful conversations with potential and existing clients.
- Work with relevant technology vendors and ensure a deep understanding of their solutions and how they can contribute to our own solutions set.
- Articulate the solution/deliverables that the client requires, as opposed to the products that they need to buy.
- Articulate our value propositions throughout all steps in the sales process.
- Establish relationships with multiple client stakeholders and secure deals with clients to achieve assigned sales quotas and targets.
- Pursue and land qualified leads identified by the client managers and other lead generation sources.
- Execute on the sales strategy.
- Support the wider territory sales plan and execute the sales strategy and based on that define your own plan for your solution to achieve your sales targets.
- Discover, forecast, and run opportunities in the medium and longterm.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure the scope of work and proposals are tracked and managed.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or a related field required.
- 5 years of sales experience and expertise and/or certifications in but not limited Microsoft, HPE and Dell Technologies.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in a professional IT services sales environment.
- Possess a track record for closing deals with key technology distribution partners, which include Microsoft, Dell Technologies, HPe, VMware, Nutanix, veritas, and Veeam (not exclusively).
- Negotiation Skill methodologies
- Solution Selling/SPIN skills

- Demonstrate success in achieving and exceeding sales and financial goals.
- Mastery in developing and encouraging meaningful channel relationships up to Clevel, particularly CFOs and CPOs
- Delivery of engaging sales presentations.
- Proficiency in team selling approach.
- Ability to define sales strategy.
- You will have a clientcentric approach, able to understand channel problems and find bestfit solutions.
- Flexible to adapt quickly to short, new missions or urgent deadlines.
- Negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to channels, partners, and NTT overall.
