DEPARTMENTAL MISSION: To lead and manage employee wellness (EW) programmes and initiatives. 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs):

Contribute to the development and review of the Group HCM strategy. Develop EW plans, processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Develop health & wellness calendar of events (e.g. wellness days, sporting events). Compile and ensure dissemination of communiqués on health and wellness. Coordinate programs/initiatives aimed at creating awareness on Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Femicide. Evaluate the effectiveness of programs through data analysis, employee feedback, participation rates, and provide recommendations for improvement. Determine the section’s priorities and ensure effective allocation of resources to these priorities. Manage human, physical and financial resources in line with the organisational policies, processes and procedures. 

KNOWLEDGE:

South African legislative Framework governing Employee wellness such as EEA and regulations, Labour Relations Act, BCEA, Occupational Health and Safety Act, POPI Act Principles and practices of Employee Wellness. SCM, HCM, Finance, change management and contract management practices and procedures

SKILLS:

Analytical Project management Problem Solving Presentation Communication

ATTITUDES:

Assertiveness Team player Customer centric

CAPABILITIES:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree/BTech in Social Sciences/ Human Resources Management/Human Resources Development/ Industrial Psychology (NQF 7)

EXPERIENCE

8 years employee Health and Wellness experience of which 3 years must be at management level.
