This proactive role requires someone who can consider wider team issues whilst developing and refining our services to offer world class front of house experiences.

The successful candidate will be working with the Facilities Specialist with the aim to adopt the standards set out by the International and South African Facilities Management Associations and implement the recommendations nationally to create safe, hygienic, cost effective and productive work environments.
A Facilities Administrator with facilities and health and safety background to inspect sites, coordinate maintenance activities and ensure that all sites maintain the same image. Work towards reducing costs, risks, and complexities together with increased quality, efficiency, and productivity.
The Facilities Administrator will be responsible to ensure quality systems and processes are adhered to and monitored on an ongoing basis in a manner that achieves the objectives of the Bank.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

  • Matriculation
  • Diploma or facilities training and experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of facilities management

Experience

  • +3 years' experience in a facilities management environment

Competencies

Technical

  • Knowledge of equipment, materials and vendors used in facilities management.
  • Good OHS knowledge/Background.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Service Level Agreements.
  • High degree of computer literacy (MS Word, Power Point, Excel) and report writing skills.
  • Problem solving and Analytical Skills
  • Resilience: ability to cope with setbacks.
  • Self-disciplined, motivated, energetic self –starter with an exemplary work ethos.
  • Capability to interact with both internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Attention to detail with a methodical and structural approach.

  • Conduct Daily Facilities Inspections, monitor and report all building maintenance work orders daily and drive completion of such tasks
