Purpose

To develop relationships with clients to acquire new business , network with existing customers to retain the business & meet sales goals

Responsibilities

Define account objectives, develop strategy, implement through account plan Develop successful working relationship with (new and existing) clients across all levels of customer organization, influencing their choice of suppliers and establish Dsm-firmenich as key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business Anticipate clients’ needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities Lead/coordinate projects with internal partners and with clients (including fragrance/flavor/ingredient submissions) Oversees entire value chain: product life cycle management, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure highest customer satisfaction and maximum value extraction Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus objectives

You Bring

Tertiary qualification (business administration, economics, marketing, science...). 5+ years sales experience. Ability to develop solid account plans to category plans. Advanced Sales and Negotiation skills. Extended product expertise (product, market, consumer, technical/technology) and passion for fragrance/flavours/Ingredients. Ability to define, prioritize and implement action plans according to business opportunities and success factors. Flavour or Fragrance industry experience would be advantageous.
