The Opportunity

We're on the hunt for dynamic Business Developers to join our growing sales team — individuals with strong business acumen, a passion for retail, and the drive to earn.

In this role, you'll identify new business opportunities, build relationships with retail owners, and convert leads into signed partners within South Africa's leading CashBack Rewards network.

Working closely with the Head of Sales and our internal PA/Sales Coordinator, you'll be supported by a strong pipeline of inbound leads while also having the freedom to grow your own network.

From day one, you'll have access to structured training, learning materials, and field mentorship — ensuring you're equipped to succeed and thrive in a team that values growth, relationships, and measurable success.

Location

Gauteng – Johannesburg or Pretoria, preferably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition and expand Infinity Rewards' partner network across assigned territories.
  • Engage with new leads generated through internal channels (website, POS partners, and client referrals).
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline while proactively identifying new partnership opportunities.
  • Schedule and conduct client meetings — both virtual and in-person — to understand business needs and present tailored loyalty solutions.
  • Capture and maintain all sales activity and client data on Sales Boards with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Nurture existing relationships and collaborate with the broader team to ensure smooth handovers to onboarding and support teams after deal closure.
  • Attend training sessions, online recordings, and live meetings during your onboarding period to develop a deep understanding of the Infinity Rewards CashBack model, partner value propositions, and sector-specific opportunities.
  • Travel throughout your region to meet clients, attend events, and represent the Infinity brand with professionalism in tone, communication, and presentation.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the team's overall success.

What You'll Need to Qualify

  • A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (preferred but not essential if supported by strong sales experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the retail, fuel, hardware, or loyalty/technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting sales goals and closing deals.
  • Strong understanding of business, finance, and marketing concepts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with confidence in client engagement.
  • Strong administrative discipline and comfort working with CRM or tracking systems (we use ).
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven — capable of working independently once trained.
  • A collaborative team player who values structure, transparency, and professionalism.
  • High integrity and trustworthiness when handling leads, client information, and company data.
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach that contributes to a positive, drama-free team culture.
  • Must have your own vehicle and a valid driver's licence for regional travel.
