Our client, a prestigious Wine Estate, is looking to recruit an Estate Hospitality Manager to oversee and enhance their hospitality operations. We are seeking a highly capable professional with strong leadership abilities, impeccable organizational skills, and a passion for delivering world-class guest experiences.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing the estate's hospitality divisions, including the Guest House, Tasting Rooms, and estate events. This role requires a polished communicator with a proven background in premium or fine-dining hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate hospitality teams
  • Manage hospitality budgets across all divisions
  • Oversee estate events
  • Handle retail procurement, including supplier management and product selection
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media, VIP clients, and guests
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met
  • Actively promote the estate's services, offerings, and brand

Requirements

  • Qualification in Hospitality management and/ or Project management
  • A proven track record as an experienced Hospitality Manager
  • Excellent communication (fluent in English & Afrikaans) and negotiation skills
  • Computer literacy- MS Office
  • Excellent classic cuisine & wine knowledge
  • A customer service driven individual
  • Experience in upmarket / fine dining Hospitality service
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, creative and innovative
  • Excellent leadership skills
