This position is for a New Business Development Manager in RSAWEB Business. The focus will be Johannesburg and in-land regions.

We are seeking to employ an experienced, dynamic Business Development Manager to grow our client base in the Gauteng region. The Business Development Manager will be tasked to promote the sale of all products and solutions of the Enterprise business by developing client relationships, increasing the knowledge, and understanding of Enterprise solutions, products and services to clients and Enterprise staff, and advising clients in the best fit, configuration and pricing of the solutions.

Core Description of the role:

- This role will focus on the acquisition of new customers for RSAWEB Enterprise business in the Gauteng region. The role is not accompanied by a set of accounts as the focus is predominantly on finding and signing new logos (new customers) and handing these over to the account management team after closure and acquisition.
- Maximize revenue and profit by seeking, planning, and executing an acquisition sales strategy and plan optimized for RSAWEB Enterprise target prospects.
- Build a foundation for maximizing new business sales revenue and profit-based solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

- Use previous business development and solution selling experience to grow RSAWEB’s customer base.
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Attending industry networking events and face to face customer meetings.
- Create tailor made offerings based on customer specific requirement.
- Grow revenue for key accounts brought onboard, for a pre-determined period, before handing accounts over to the account management team for ongoing management.
- Identify opportunities within the customer’s current connectivity, mobile, cloud, digital etc. landscape and foster strong relationships to ensure customers are ahead of their competitors by utilizing RSAWEB’s enterprise products and services.
- The ability to create meaningful proposals customized to each customer requirement.
- The ability to aggressively manage the sales cycle to ensure customers are onboarded quickly and efficiently.
- Effective co-ordination and escalation of matters to relevant business managers.
- Maintain accurate sales forecast and weekly activity reports.
- Achieve set monthly targets.
- Manage client expectations and be accountable for meeting all aspects of Sales targets associated with new business development function.
- Maintain good relations with internal stakeholders to build long-term trust.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience with selling Business Connectivity, Cloud, Mobile, and/or IOT to enterprise customers.
- Successful Sales track record in a solution sales environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales.
- Engage with prospect organizations to position RSAWEB solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references, and analyst data.
- Comfortably interacts at the C-level.
- Uncover and create new business opportunities through independent prospecting.
- Must know how to negotiate and close deals under pressure and influence at all levels.
- 3-Year Diploma or Degree level preferential. Skills and experience will be evaluated in lieu of a formal qualification.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to delighting customers and creating a trusted environment for customers to engage in.
- Ownership – able to take responsibility, troubleshoot problems and work with teams to get results.
- Ruthless on customer service excellence.
- Must be proficient in both oral and written communication skills.
