Job purpose:

Research and develop various marketing strategies for the company’s products. Implement marketing plans and work to meet sales quotas. Track marketing and sales data and identify areas of improvement.

Duties and responsibilities:

Sales

1. Build and lead a team of motivated, high achiever sales people.

2. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a focus on annuity revenue in the SME market.

3. Drive sales targets with team, in order to meet company’s annual growth projections.

4. Build and maintain good relationships with the premium customer base clients.

5. Generating, qualifying and converting new leads.

6. Upselling/cross-selling additional products into the existing customer base.

7. Identify opportunities in our product portfolio and marketing campaigns to generate sales.

8. Manage productivity and reporting for the sales team.

Marketing

1. Maintain accurate information on company website.

2. Design promotional web pages to track effectiveness of other marketing initiatives.

3. Seek to maximize income, set goals and track vs. internal and external benchmarks and KPI’s.

4. Seek to minimize marketing expenses, develop annual forecasts and strategies.

5. Writing, producing and ensuring the effective delivery of integrated marketing plans.

6. Building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

7. Ensuring the brand message and representation strongly and consistently professional across all channels and marketing efforts.

8. Effectively monitoring, measuring and reporting against marketing activity to ensure return on investment and meeting growth targets for various channels, organic, referral, paid search and Direct channels.

9. Drive, own and manage website lead conversions in line with traffic volumes.

10. Present creative initiatives for brand awareness and monitor competitor trends and performance.

11. Marketing Plans – market research, analysis, company position, designing proposals and recommendations regarding media, content, advertising and sales.

12. Online and Digital Marketing – Social media platforms, website management, content creation and management, liaising with online partners, e-mail marketing, SEO optimization, PPC management, online review portals etc. And working closely with the graphic designer ensuring that all print and online needs are met according to the standards and time frame expected.

13. Executes email marketing, and display advertising.

14. Verifies all advertising for the company in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice.

15. Facilitates social media engagement and updating content in local digital channels (e.g. hotel website, travel sites).

16. Keeps abreast of competition and its collateral, advertising, and marketing efforts and constantly evolving digital and marketing trends.

17. Drive online and social media digital strategy as well as maintain digital corporate identity with 3rd party consumer platform (HelloPeter, My Broadband, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

18. Preparing and managing annual marketing budget.

19. Develops a comprehensive PR plan per quarter along with agency. Management and distribution of all PR from the business and executes post sign-off.

Minimum requirements:

1. Tertiary qualification relating to the field (on-line marketing, sales, communications, media, and specifically social media).

2. 8 + years’ hands-on experience in on-line Marketing and Sales strategies with proven results.

3. Strong leadership and people management skills.

4. Experience in the tech, web hosting and SaaS industry shall be advantageous but is not essential, although an affinity for technology, an ability to quickly understand technological concepts is required.

5. CSS and HTML experience definitely a plus.

6. Ability to work within an allocated budget and has a strong financial acumen.

7. Experience in networking and building strategic on-line, revenue-generating relationships with online partners.

8. Extensive experience in Social media development strategies and traction, digital PR, influencer campaigns etc.

4. Budget-management skills and proficiency.

5. Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field.

6. Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
