Business Development and Sales:

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy to drive financial gain and customer retention.
  • Pursue new markets, customer needs, and sales leads to drive business expansion.
  • Arrange business development meetings with key stakeholders to explore new opportunities.
  • Manage the new business pipeline, follow-up, and organic growth initiatives to achieve targets.
  • Set targets for new and organic growth, track progress, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present sales materials, packs, and presentations to potential clients and key stakeholders.
  • Promote company products and services to address client needs.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts to drive new business and retention.
  • Oversee and report on client relationship and key account management activities to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct presentations to prospective clients and manage onboarding and implementation processes to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure seamless handover to Key Account Managers (KAMs) for after-sales support and customer retention.
  • Execute and oversee aggressive organic growth strategies with the team to drive business expansion.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with clients are met and exceeded to drive a high-performance culture within the team.
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with Scheme and BOT to drive business growth.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Collaborate with marketing, managed care, implementation, and sales divisions to achieve organisational goals and drive business success.
  • Plan and allocate resources for year-end revision processes and client service provisions to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide strategic input and involvement in group projects to manage escalated client queries effectively and drive business growth.

Team Management and Development:

  • Lead and manage the Sales and Client Services teams, including Key Account Managers and Customer Service Consultants, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify training needs, design effective programs, and mentor new employees to drive team development and performance.
  • Monitor employee performance, update training manuals, and ensure continuous improvement to drive team success.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-centric, and results-driven team environment to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Financial Management:

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and management reports on sales, client services, and business operations to stakeholders.
  • Institute financial controls, manage the department budget, and implement cost-effective strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and report on sales revenue, pipeline achievements, client satisfaction, and other key metrics to drive business success.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Design and implement processes for operational efficiencies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage events and stakeholder relationships, overseeing the application process and communication with HR and membership departments to drive business growth.
  • Oversee client service provision in the medical aid and financial services industry to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
