Sales and Business Development Professional

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our team at First Distribution, focusing on Huawei EBG solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and executing business plans to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in assigned customer accounts.
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with customers, ensuring seamless support for their Huawei EBG needs.
- Own and execute business plans with partners, driving sales activities aligned with these plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate CRM records for all opportunities being managed.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from quoting to deal closure, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries.
Marketing and Enablement:
- Develop forecasts and plans for marketing activities with business partners, focusing on incremental business engagements.
- Plan and execute demand generation activities per quarter, leveraging product and marketing specialists to drive success.
- Collaborate with brand and product managers to provide effective enablement to customers.
Admin and Support:
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and notes in the CRM system.
- Track closed deals on dashboards to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure complete and accurate information is provided for orders, meeting all necessary criteria for clean orders.
Competencies and Qualifications:
We require individuals who possess:
- Knowledge of relevant brand products and processes.
- Understanding of vendor structure and distribution industry.
- Previous IT solutions sales and business development experience.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and self-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
Additional Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Business Management or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in IT sales, preferably in datacentre and networking ICT solutions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
